Thai Food and Thai Dessert Experience “Exchange - Exploration - Excursion - Experience - Expertise at SUMS”

เมื่อวันที่ 25 สิงหาคม 2567 ฝ่ายจัดการศึกษา คณะวิทยาการจัดการ ได้จัดกิจกรรมเวิร์กช็อปเพื่อส่งเสริมการเรียนรู้วัฒนธรรมไทยผ่านการทำอาหารและขนมหวานไทย ให้แก่นักศึกษาต่างชาติจาก Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD) ประเทศบรูไน และ National Kaohsiung University of Hospitality and Tourism (NKUHT) ไต้หวัน โดยมีนักศึกษาไทยร่วมกิจกรรมอย่างอบอุ่น

ภายในกิจกรรม นักศึกษาได้เรียนรู้การทำเมนูยอดนิยมของไทย ได้แก่ ผัดไทย และ ข้าวเกรียบปากหม้อ ผ่านการสาธิตและแนะนำอย่างใกล้ชิดโดย อาจารย์สไบทิพย์ มงคลนิมิตร์ และนักศึกษาสาขาวิชาการจัดการโรงแรม ซึ่งได้ร่วมกันถ่ายทอดเคล็ดลับและเทคนิคการปรุงอาหารอย่างสนุกสนาน นักศึกษาทุกคนได้ลงมือปรุงด้วยตนเองและได้ลิ้มรสฝีมือตนเอง กิจกรรมนี้ไม่เพียงแต่เปิดโอกาสให้นักศึกษาต่างชาติได้สัมผัสวัฒนธรรมไทยอย่างใกล้ชิดเท่านั้น แต่ยังส่งเสริมการเรียนรู้ร่วมกันระหว่างนักศึกษาไทยและต่างชาติ เสริมสร้างมิตรภาพ ความเข้าใจในความหลากหลายทางวัฒนธรรม

On 25 August 2025, the Educational Management Division, Faculty of Management Science, organized a cultural workshop to promote Thai cultural learning through cooking Thai food and desserts. The activity welcomed international students from Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD), Brunei, and the National Kaohsiung University of Hospitality and Tourism (NKUHT), Taiwan, with warm participation from Thai students.

During the workshop, participants learned how to make two popular Thai dishes: Pad Thai and Khao Kriab Pak Moh (Thai steamed rice-skin dumplings), through hands-on cooking sessions guided closely by Lecturer Sabaithip Mongkolnimit and students from the Hotel Management Program. The instructors shared cooking techniques and tips in an enjoyable and engaging manner. All students had the opportunity to prepare the dishes themselves and taste their own creations.

This activity not only provided international students with a meaningful opportunity to experience Thai culture up close, but also fostered cross-cultural learning, strengthened friendships, and enhanced mutual understanding of cultural diversity between Thai and international students.
